Went to see blur playing at the brixton academy yesterday - about 600 people there I'd guess so a reallly intimate feel. Lots of kids wondering around in ear protectors. Iain's friend, Andy, has a partner called Carrie, also a primary teacher originally although now lecturing in education, and her sister is Damon Abarn's partner hence the access to a friends and family gig. They did lots of material - lots of really good stuff and old tunes and we all loved it. Lots of pints after, and then stayed at Andy and Carries last night in Surbiton.
